AGARTALA, April 9 (TIWN): Modi’s shameful selection of a hardcore criminal Pratima Bhowmik as MP candidate a slap on Indian Democracy. 24 yrs old girl Chabi Debnath, who became housewife in a smuggler family in exchange of huge dowries seen her deadly end within a year when she was killed after year long tortures by her sister-in-law Pratima Bhowmik, husband Biswajit Bhowmik and other family members. Chabi Debnath, was mother of 2 months old baby when was killed by strangling by Pratima Bhowmik, Biswajit Bhowmik, led them to stay in police custody, jail custody whereas after 3 months managed bail. In the court order it is clearly visible how Chabi Debnath who was maintaining a dairy in her mobile was tortured everyday and all tortures witnesses were Chabi’s sister Swapna and there were lots of messages, phone calls held between these two sisters before Chabi was killed. Now, question is when BJP in the name of Nari-Shakti, Agni-Kanya is attempting to make an MP in the Parliament and also Biplab Deb is pushing to make her a central minister if wins, how can a notorious person, women torturer, dowry-promoter can represent a state ?

Apart from that Pratima Bhowmik and her brother’s direct link with smuggling empire has been challenged by many people but she never could answer on that.

So, far from the Police report these points are cleared

1)     Chabi Debanth’s phone diary shows she was brutally tortures in her in-law’s home,

2)     She was mentally, physically tortured which she shared with her sister Swapna Debnath,

3)     Biswajit was carrying illicit affair at his own home,

4)     Hefty dowries were taken from Chabi Debnath’s father

5)     Victim’s family was informed after taking out Chabi Debnath’s body and Chabi’s father saw his daughter in hospital when doctors declared her as dead.

In her personal diary recorded from the Samsung mobile, the deceased late Chabi Debnath had scripted her daily sufferings, tortures by her in-law’s family members along with illicit relation with sister-in-law (Biswajit, Pratima’s brother Ajit Debnath’s wife Subra Bhowmik). In the charge-sheet the then SI of Jatrapur Police Station on 18th April 2014 asking 5 days police remand told the court, investigation of the case was in the prime stage of progress and thus they accused should not get bail. Police also reported to the court that after the crime Biswajit Bhowmik fled away which was another crime. However Subra Debnath, wife of Biswajit’s elder brother Ajit Debnath managed bail but both Pratima and Biswajit were extended by police custody. The charges were imposed against these three are : US/498(A)/306/506/34/IPC with the Case No- 19/14 US/498(A)/302/34/IPC.

Brutal Murder case of killing Ms. Chabi Debnath, wife of Biswajit Bhowmik, brother of Pratima Bowmik who is now BJP MP candidate cum General Secretary Pratima Bhowmik, this case was registered in 17th April, 2014 after Pratima Bhowmik’s smuggler brother Biswajit Bhowmik’s wife Chabi Debnath’s deadbody was hanged after murde by Pratima Bhowmik and her family at Dhanpur house.

Pratima Bhowmik also came under question mark when one BJP top leader of her area Ranjit Majumder died suspiciously. If Rajit Majumder was alive, then he would become the top BJP leader, which was replaced by Pratima.

Pratima Bhowmik was also arrested in dirty cases in her youth-life.

In this situation, why Narendra Modi, Biplab Deb didn’t get a better leader than Pratima Bhowmik it is highly suspicious as hardcore criminal Pratima now a blot on criminals entry into Indian Democracy.
