AGARTALA, October 13 (TIWN): There will be no formal examination for classes I and II but observation method including oral assessment will be followed, said a highly placed source in the education department.
The testing will be done simultaneously while teaching through organizing contents-related activities and hands on experiences. Most of the time, the students will not be aware that they are being tested, the source mentioned.
The Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) in classes III to VII will be spread over two terms in one academic session and each term will consists of 2 formative assessments and 1 summative assessment. The duration of first term will be from 1st January to 30th June of the academic session and the second term will cover the period from 1st July to 31st December of the academic session, the source said.
