Agartala, October 12 (TIWN): Last tribute had been paid to the eminent public prosecutor Dilip Sarkar. Chief Minister Manik Sarkar and other dignitaries condole over his death.
The deceased body of Mr. Sarkar had been brought to Agartala on Sunday morning. From the airport the body was taken to his house at Ramnagar and placed in the Ramnagar School Field.
There many dignitaries paid floral tribute to him. After that the body was placed in the Tripura Bar Council and High Court where Chief Justice Deepak Gupta paid last tribute to this eminent personality. Thereafter last funeral rights will be done at Battala cremation.
Chief Minister on his condolence message expresses that Mr. Sarkar is an established name in the fields of law. Not only law but in social sphere this eminent personality makes his finger print. In the cultural sphere Mr. Sarkar had also laid his helping hands. The passing way of such a legendary figure will create a zero sphere in all fields that he touched.
It is to be mentioned that Mr. Sarkar passed away on Saturday morning at Kolkata’s Rajarhat in his son’s-in-law’s house. He was survived by two sons and wife.
