AGARTALA, April 1 (TIWN): BJP MLA Dilip Sarkar has breathed his last on Monday after his long illness.

Dilip Sarkar is a politician from Tripura. In 2013 assembly elections, he represents Badharghat constituency in West Tripura Tripura in Tripura Legislative Assembly.

In 2016, he was one of the six MLA from Indian National Congress who joined TMC.

Due to unhappiness towards party because of allying CPI-M at Bengal.

In August 2017, he joined BJP.
