AGARTALA, March 30 (TIWN): ADC’s executive member cum CPI-M’s top layer leader Parikshit Muransing was attempted to be murdered allegedly by BJP hooligans.

Tension has erupted across Bir Chandra Manu, Patichari, Rajapur, Paschim Pahari of Bleonia in South Tripura.

After being failed to murder Parikshit Murasing, the miscreants burnt Paschim Pahari party office.

The matter was first informed by a local source to Parikshit Murasing. Murasing was asked to stay alter.

However, at around 6 am the attack took place on him. A group of miscreants rushed in a car to kill him, whereas later police and jawans had saved him. But then, the CPI-M party office at Paschim Pahari was burnt.

CPI-M has condemned the incident.
