‘Didn’t want to be burden on BJP’ : BJP Vice President resigns

AGARTALA, March 19 (TIWN): Claiming did not want to be a burden on BJP, party Vice President Subal Bhowmik has quitted BJP over various politics played against him.
His official joining programme at Congress Bhawan was at 1 pm.
“I don’t want to be burden for my party. When proposal came to make me President then many people objected and in case of my MP candidate-ticket also same happened. In this condition, I can not be more neglected and burdened for BJP”, he said.
“Just now the party (BJP) made a Govt ! So let to rule long. I was in Congress for 25 years and now returning home”, said Bhwomik.
