AGARTALA, March 19 (TIWN): BJP former Vice President Subal Bhowmik after resigning BJP today told media that almost all BJP Ministers had called him and appreciated his decision of resigning BJP to join Congress.
He added, “I will not say, who did not call me, but hardly anybody left to call me……….”
Today, Subal Bhowmik met Congress National Secretary Bhupen Borah and State President Pradyot Manikya along with other Congress leaders at the Royal Palace. Bhowmik's joining programme is at 1 pm.
Tomorrow during Rahul Gandhi's visit, Subal Bhowmik will remain present on the dais.
Along with Bhowmik, many supporters are expected to join Congress with Rahul Gandhi’s arrival.
BJP’s 90 % supports in Tripura are based on ex-Congress supports and under Biplab Deb and General Secretary Pratima Bhowmik BJP’s landslide has been started ahead of Lok Sabha election in full wave.
