AGARTALA, March 15 (TIWN): Tripura Congress President Pradyot Manikya has announced if Congress voted to power at Centre then Kok Borok will be introduced in Roman Script under the 8th schedule of the constitution in Writing.

Right now, a huge debate is going on regarding Kokborok’s would be alphabets. Assuring the alphabets will be in Roman, Pradyot Manikya asked people to just hold for few time.

“The Congress Party has assured Kok Borok in Roman Script under the 8th schedule of the constitution in Writing . Will ensure more things are assured in WRITTEN and not promises to the people of our state . Posts are not permanent People and society is ......I promised I won't change ....this is just the beginning. Kindly wait and see what I bring to the table from Delhi to Tripura”, Pradyot Manikya said.
