AGARTALA, March 13 (TIWN): Till now, only CPI-M has announced its candidates’ names for the upcoming Lok Sabha election. After naming CPI-M’s candidates for Lok Sabha Election 2019, the party organized a massive rally in Agartala urging common men to vote for CPI-M in this upcoming Lok Sabha election.
State is waiting for other parties candidates’ names list out.
CPI-M has announced two sitting MPs 1) MP Jitendra Chaudhury and 2) MP Shankar Prasad Dutta as Lok Sabha election candidates.
Announcing MP Jitendra Chaudhury (East Tripura, ST seat), MP Shankar Prasad Datta (West Tripura seat) will be contesting as the MP candidates for Tripura's two seats for the upcoming Lok Sabha Election, CPI-M said, the party is confident of winning the Election. Also the party has mentioned, all left parties will give support for CPI-M MPs.
In Northeast anti-BJP wave is on peak, just a month back it was Prime Minister Modi who was welcomed with black flags and balloons in Northeast as well as in Tripura.
