AGARTALA, March 11 (TIWN): Reacting over BJP’s boasting of Modi image centering Pulwama attack and BJP’s political image-maligning of Congress former Prime Ministers, a senior Congress leader of Tripura Pijush Biswas said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had knowledge about Pulwama terror attack before 7 days of the incident where 40 jawans were killed.

“India’s history says, Congress Govt again and again has punished Pakistan. But, there is no dispute on that before 7 days of Pulwama attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a report about that probable terror attack. It will also not be a mistake to say that intentionally to gain political benefit out of that, no precaution to stop terror attack was taken”, the Congress leader told media.

“When opposition attempted to protest on this, BJP accused that opposition is talking in Pakistan’s tone. We will say, under the Congress Govt, Pakistan’s image was smashed worldwide. Whenever Pakistan had attacked, Congress Govt replied boldly”, Congress spokesperson Pijush Biswas said.

“Jawaharal Nehru, Lal Banadhur Shastri, Indira Gandhi we have many examples under whose leaderships Pakistan was bended again and again. Whereas whenever India’s BJP PMs were busy to hug Prime Ministers of Pakistan, India was attacked from Vajpayee to Modi”, Biswas added.
