AGARTALA, March 8 (TIWN): CPI-M MP Jitendra Chaudhury on Friday through a press release has hit media’s unrealistic news reporting about his meeting with Pradyot Manikya as ‘secret’ and ‘political’ meeting.

MP Jitendra Chadhury revealed, Pradyot Manikya and Jitendra Chadhury met many times inside state, outside state for years after years as it’s not necessary that people should know each other, talk to each other only for political reason.

A local newspaper published a news claiming ‘Jiten-Pradyot’ conducted a secret meeting.

Chaudhury further said, it was a personal and linguistic discussion’s meeting.

“Absolute fiction that Jitendra Choudhary and i met and discussed seat sharing as it has appeared in Danik Sanbad . Planted stories and fiction has become the order of the day any guesses who did this ? Perhaps the media advisor Mr Mishra May know better ! fake propaganda - chi chi”, said Pradyot Manikya in Facebook.

It can be mentioned here that earlier, BJP ahead of Assembly Election took mileage of a picture framed Biplab Deb and Jitendra Chaudhury at Agartala Airport, saying ‘MP Jitenra Chadhury may join BJP’.
