AGARTALA, March 4 (TIWN): Youth Congress on Monday has broken 24 hours hunger strike which they started on the occasion of BJP’s first anniversary in Tripura.

 Congress President Pradyot Manikya, leader Ratna Dutta and other leaders were present on the occasion.

Addressing media, Pradyot Manikya said that the protest was symbolic as a part of reaction of Congress against unfulfilled promises of the BJP Govt in last one year.

In coming days, protests will be more strong if the Govt delays to fulfill public demands.

This was also to motivate the youths and to highlight Govt’s silence on serious issues, Manikya added.
