AGARTALA, March 3 (TIWN): Tripura Congress, Youth Congress has observed black day on Sunday on the one year completion of the BJP rule in Tripura.
An agitation was staged at Agartala protesting against ‘JUMLA-Rule’ of BJP.
“This day is marked as a black day, because just because before one year, the youths of Tripura voted BJP to power trusting BJP’s Vision Document but no pre-poll promise of BJP has been fulfilled in last 1 year”, said Youth Congress agitators.
“BJP promised that unemployed youths will get works in BJP rule, whereas 1 year is gone, but couldn’t fulfil 50000 posts. But Congress recently came in power in few states and whatever promises were made Congress fulfilled them within few days of assuming power”.
“In Tripura they promised 2000 rupees will be the social pension, whereas only 300 rupees were hiked, means a total JUMLA”, the agitators added.
