AGARTALA, March 1 (TIWN): BJP stretched Rose Valley Chit Fund scam allegation against CPI-M former Social Welfare Minister Bijita Nath in the Assembly was turned heavy for BJP MLA Biswabandhu Sen, who was sitting as the deputy speaker in the Assembly. After BJP MLAs raised the issue, Nath had blasted BJP MLA cum Deputy Speaker Biswabandhu Sen saying he was with Bijita Nath when all talks about Rose Valley were going on and the chit fund company’s programmes were held in North District of Tripura. The issue of Rose Valley was raised by one BJP MLA to pinch Bijita Nath who was twice interrogated by CBI. In reply, Nath said, “I am ready to help in the investigation. I also want cheated people should get justice and get their invested moents”, but still when BJP leaders were pelting her with tough words, she fingered at the Deputy Speaker (BJP MLA Biswabandhu Sen) saying, “Sir was also with me”. Then MLAs were asking the speaker, whether he was with her ? Then the Deputy Speaker said, “I was just in a programme”. Then she replied, “I have all proofs. Don’t challenge me”.

Former Minister Bijita Nath was alleged for her involvement in Rose Valley chit fund scam, who was also was an agent of it.

She was first interrogated on June 29, 2017 when she was the Minister of Manik Sarkar’s cabinet.

Tripura BJP is delaying its pre-poll promise about CBI investigation against chit fund scamsters of Tripura, even though chit fund was one of the major allegations brought by the opposition before election to unseat the CPI-M.Before the election, the present Minister Ratan Lal Nath said, "There is no doubt that immediately BJP Govt will take action against Rose Valley and other chit fund scamsters once it comes in power. It's sure that the first action of the BJP Govt will be to handover the cases to CBI".

The BJP Minister on that time also said, the employees who distributed licenses years after years to them (Chit Fund owners), will be arrested first and via them the main heads will come. But with the delaying of CBI by the BJP Govt has raised question on BJP's motive behind big-promises as day after day the cases are becoming old, clueless.

On the other side, BJP's failure to run CBI investigation in Rose Valley chit fund scam has cost the party image heavily today during Assembly Day-3.

When before the Election BJP had propagated its party with a 'clean' image amid in the presence of chit fund tainted like Assam BJP Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, West Bengal BJP leader Mukul Roy, at the same time BJP has totally failed to down CPI-M's image even after the election.

Further CPI-M has hit BJP BJP with Rose Valleyissue, asking them to stop boosting 'fake' about CPI-M' involvement in Rose Valley.
