AGARTALA, Feb 27 (TIWN): A 16 years girl was brutally gangraped and killed in Tripura, erupted massive resentment with Women Commission’s silence on the horrifying incident.

The incident took place at Kalyanpur North Ghilatali area. The victim was a resident of Shambhuram Chowdhury Para.

She was going to her tutor’s home at Manipuri Basti area. The victim was a Madhyamik exam candidate.

Everyday she used to walk one kilometer to reach the tutor’s home due to her family’s economic situation.

But she didn’t return home in time and the tutor also informed that she didn’t come to his home.

In the morning her deadbody was recovered in a jungle at Ghilatali’s Bhumihin Coloni area by farmers and they informed the police.

So far nobody was arrested.
