‘E-rickshaw chaos was done by police without Govt’s permission’, says Biplab Deb, suspends police officer

AGARTALA, Feb 21 (TIWN): After a mess was created across Agaratla City after police started removing all E-rickshaw batteries, BJP-IPFT Govt has taken a strict decision against one law-breaker police officer named Sukanta Biswas accusing him behind the E-rickshaw chaos of today.
The mess was created more when reacting against police action the rickshaw drivers blocked Post Office Chowmuhani road.
Addressing media, CM Biplab Deb and Law Minister Ratanlal Nath said that High Court has given one month of time to take decision on the E-rickshaw drivers issue but without informing anybody Sukanta Biswas ordered for immediate banning of E-rickshaws and started removing the batteries of E-rickshaws.
