AGARTALA, Feb 20 (TIWN): Ahead of PM Modi’s Gorakhpur rally where Modi to dedicate a scheme of Rs. 6000 annually for the farmers, Tripura Congress leader Pradyot Manikya on Wednesday at Congress Bhawan said that ahead of Election Modi Govt is counting vote banks of farmers, whereas Congress always fulfill the given promises as soon as comes in power.

 “Modi has announced Rs. 6000 for farmers in a year just ahead of Election, but when at Chattishgarh Congress Govt came, within 2 days according to the given promise, loan of the farmers were relieved, eventhough Congress promised about 10 days earlier. But the BJP Govt is a Govt of Anil Ambani”, Manikya added.

“Supreme Court also has ordered Ambani to submit Rs. 450 crores, to avoid jail. Everybody knows how Ambani made that money”, Pradyot Manikya told media.

Talking about Citizenship Amendment Bill, Pradyot Manikya said Congress will oppose Citizenship Amendment Bill jointly against Modi Govt.

Reacting over the controversy of new Congress President in Tripura, Pradyot Manikya said, whoever the President will be, Congress will accept him open-heartedly and discussing about the new President before Rahul Gandhi’s announcement will be “hypothetical”. 

Congress in Tripura holding 2-days programme from February 24, 25 and Rahul Gandhi is visiting Guwahati on 26th February and to hold a rally where Congress's all top leaders from State Tripura to join, he informed further to media.
