AGARTALA, Feb 20 (TIWN): One Saptam Debnath, under BJP leadership has become self-announced assistant manager of Udaipur Tripura Sundari Temple.

There was no Assistant Manager post for Udaipur Matabari but Saptam Deb not only announced himself as the assistant manager unofficially but also started printing his own cards with designation of Asst Manager of Matabari.

However, local administration informed, there is no assistant manager post existing for Matabari. So question doesn’t arise that anybody can claim himself as assistant manager.

But Saptam Debnath without any hesitation distributing cards in his name.

Earlier, Matabari temple was under Matabari Unnoyan Committee where DM, SDM headed the committee. After BJP Govt came in power, it handedover the temple to trust excluding the local MLA however.

It has been known, since the BJP Govt is in power continuously people from outside are visiting Matabari and Saptam Debnath is taking care of them.

With this illegal interference of Saptam Debnath, resentments have been brewed among the other BJP members as well as Matabari employees.
