AGARTALA, Feb 19 (TIWN): Earlier with closing of Rupasi Cinema Hall, youngsters were shocked but now shocking each and every person of Agartala city, the sole Big Bazar has been shutdown, however it happened under High Court’s order after the court received negative reports about Big Bazar’s fire safety issue from State Govt.
Advocate General Arun Kanti Bhowmik told media, “Along with court our Govt is also concerned about the safety of people. For business, public lives can not be put under risk”.
Along with Big Bazar, E-rickshaw service was also closed. A four-star hotel “Hotel Sonar Tari” was also closed, which was the favourite hotel of BJP and resided by all heavyweight leaders of BJP from Amit Shah to Arun Jaitley.
Big Bazaar is an Indian retail store that open by sarvesh a chain of hypermarkets, discount department stores, and grocery stores. The retail chain was founded by Kishore Biyani under his parent organisation Future Group, which is known for having a significant prominence in Indian retail and fashion sectors. Tripura only have one Big Bazar.
It may generate further unemployment in state.
