AGARTALA, Feb 15 (TIWN): Much awaited Agartala Book Fair has begun from Monday at the ground of Umakanta Academy.

Governor Katan Singh Solanki, Chief Minister Biplab Deb, Finance Minister Jishnu Debbarma, Forest Minister NC Debbarma, Education Minister Ratanlal Nath were present on that occasion.

Publishers from Kolkata, Guwahati, Mumbai, New Delhi, besides Tripura Publishers’ Guild and All Tripura Book Sellers and Publishers Association have participated in the book fair.

Cultural programmes would be organized every evening among other events will be held during the fair but it was halted today due to national mourning day after the Kashmir attack.
