AGARTALA, Jan 28 (TIWN): Childline and Police in a joint operation has stopped a child marriage at Agartala.

This had been love affair, alleged locals but since the raid in the marriage, the hubby is absconding.

One girl from Roy Para in Airport areas was missing. Later it was known one Bijoy Biswas had taken her away for marriage.

Police raided the marriage whereas Bijoy Biswas escaped from the spot, now absconding. The victim girl has been handedover to the parents.
