AGARTALA, Jan 27 (TIWN): Decked up in their best, residents of Tripura have plunged into festivities and merriment, ahead of Saraswati Puja – the biggest festival for school and college students. This year Saraswati Puja will be held on February 10 and artisans are busy in decorating idols.
Chants of Bag Devi Saraswati to reverberate across the state with every city, small town and village joining in the fervor as the five-day festival got off to an electrifying start.
Saraswati puja is the biggest celebration for the students. State Tripura has already geared up to celebrate this auspicious occasion.
Regardless town and village all over the state school students are decoration their schools for the upcoming occasion. Already many schools have ordered their idols in schools and the celebration have been geared up.
