AGARTALA, October 4 (TIWN): Chief Minister Manik Sarkar today formally launched the 65th TB Seal Campaign 2014 in the state at CM house.Chief Minister Manik Sarkar said that the Tuberculosis Association of the state is playing a vital role in generating public awareness about the prevention and cure of Tuberculosis through its various campaigns.

These campaigns have been instrumental in generating awareness about prevention, detection, cure and management of Tuberculosis and have consequently helped hundreds suffering from this disease. Such campaigns can therefore play a significant role in managing and controlling the disease, he mentioned.

He also urged to all citizens of the state to come forward and contribute generously to this cause.
