AGARTALA, Jan 18 (TIWN): Huge controversies are going on in the 21st century regarding what school girls should wear as uniform. Saree or Salwar ?

However, the controversy is going on at the Netaji school after media reports came against girls wearing sarees in that particular school, when all schools adapted "salwar" which is more comfortable for students.

Today Women Commission Chairperson Barnali Goswami visited the school and talked to the teachers and students.

Now, question is, why the authority doesn’t make it “optional” for students and let the girls to take their own decisions ? Where is the fear ?

Also boys can be given to wear pants or “dhotis” whatever they like in option !
