AGARTALA, Jan 10 (TIWN): Statewide indigenous and regional parties have demanded Biplab Deb’s resignation as Tripura Chief Minister as well as from Home Ministry and suspension of SP West Ajit Pratap Singh after brutal firing injured 6 Tiprasa youths who were protesting against Citizenship Bill at Jirania Mathabbari on National Highway.

However, IPFT which is aligned with BJP has not supported the other parties and backed Biplab Deb Govt and also in a joint press conference Biplab Deb and NC Debbarma clarified, ‘There is nothing wrong in Citizenship Bill’.

At the same Congress is supporting regional parties including INPT, source confirmed.

There will be shortly a massive protest in Agartala demanding Biplab Deb’s step down and suspension of SP West Ajit Pratap Singh.
