AGARTALA, Dec 22 (TIWN): Congress State President Birjit Sinha has been leading the campaigning for the upcoming Municipal by-election across the state.
On Saturday for Ward No-35, AMC huge supporters led by Birjit Sinha marched the campaigning, sought vote.
The Municipal Election will be conducted on December 27, which was postponed from December 22 by Election Commission, even without informing the oppositions. Amid much attacks, arrests of Congress members, the Party has geared up for the by-poll.
On yesterday two national leaders Bhupen Borah, Sharmistha Mukharjee chaired meeting with the State Congress.
Today a huge number of Congress activists, added by NSUI, Youth Congress campaigned with full enthusiasm and sought votes from the voters.
Congress said, the public response to their party was very positive and public-resentment against BJP Govt’s misruling is fueling allover.
