AGARTALA, Dec 21 (TIWN): Tripura girl Ashmita Pal has bagged 5 gold medals in 64th national school gymnastics.

The tournament was held in the NSRCC  at Netaji Chowmuhuni.

In the under 17 team one bronze medal  was acquired by Priyanka Dasgupta and in under 14 team artistic gymnastics Sahar Mohummad received one gold.

However, Ashmita earlier also performed even at international level tournament but she didn’t get much recognition.

In World School Gymnastics Championship she represented the Indian team at Turkey.
