AGARTALA, Dec 17 (TIWN): Biplab Deb, Pratima Bhowmik’s crime empire unleashed terror Statewide. After 9 months of BJP Govt, Tripura everyday is undergoing massive violence, witnessing day-night attacks upon the opposition parties, normal lives are disrupted. The ruling BJP even though far from fulfilling Vision Document’s promises and unemployment problems have been spiked up hugely but desperately the party is asking for votes for the upcoming Municipal Election saying “BJP never differentiates between any party base and goes with sab-ka-sath, sab-ka-bikas policy. Unemployed youths are resented as before the election it promised to fill up 50,000 vacant posts in various Govt Depts within 1 year of Govt formation whereas after coming in power, BJP Govt instead of fulfilling Vision Document’s promise, had suspended all existing recruitments and then cancelled all ongoing jobs.
Right now, Tripura not only tops in unemployment rate but the percentage of unemployment is 32.2% which is highest in Indian’s unemployment record in last few decades.
From 7th Pay Commission to other promises scripted in the Vision Document by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, all left unfulfilled whereas Chief Minister Biplab Deb continues to stay in news headlines for his gaffes and controversy for heli-rides and fruitless Delhi visits.
However, the BJP has claimed that it’s a Govt with difference and having positive attitude for development and urged people to vote for BJP by selecting Lotus.
Moreover 91 seats in the Municipal Election have been grabbed by force where the candidates in massive attacks were forced to withdraw nominations. Many CPI-M, Congress supporters, leaders, candidates were hospitalized centering the Municipal election and many victimized by fabricated cases.
Attacks upon media increased at highest under 9 months of BJP Govt and many media houses were closed, even, being afraid of exposing news Tripurainfoway.com was blocked in various networks by Biplab Deb.
Municipal Election will be conducted on December 27 which was earlier scheduled on December 22. But suddenly without informing the oppositions, Election Commission in state led by G K Rao had postponed the election on December 27 after BJP lost in the Assembly Election nationally on December 11.
Opposition CPI-M, Congress are also in door-to-door campaigning amid threats, attacks and obstacles for the upcoming Municipal Election on December 27.
