Agartala, Sept 30 (TIWN): The Family Welfare and Preventive Medicine Department today informed that Malaria outbreak is in control in Tripura.
According to the press release, there is no Malaria death was reported on yesterday. To control the malaria outbreak in Tripura, Health and Family Welfare Department yesterday conducted a total of 31 health camps. Altogether 8865 health camps were organized in Tripura since June 13, this year.
Amongst 868 fever patients, 57 patients were diagnosed as malaria parasite across the state on yesterday. Altogether 239 patients were admitted in different health organizations yesterday. Out of them 47 patients were identified as malaria parasite.
A total of 3, 41, 401 fever patients were treated in the different health camps and health organizations till date since June 13, this year. Among them, malaria parasites we found in the blood of 54, 135 patients.
