Agartala, September 30 (TIWN): Police are all set to question Additional RMSA State Mission Director DK Debbarma, Biswarath Debbarma and DDO Ambalika Datta again after finding few clues that they used money siphoned from RMSA fund. According to SDPO Sanjay Biswas that they already examined bank accounts of the trio, who were suspended by state government recently. Moreover Police have sought School Education Department’s help with crucial inputs. While looking into high-value transactions, investigators found some clues.

Biswas also confirmed over telephone, “We may question the officials of School Education Department again”. “The major portion of RMSA fund was regularly routed through Arnab to his numerous abortive ventures”, he added. Arnab was an equally big spender who pumped a lot of money into many anti-social activities.

Most of this money was not routed through bank accounts, but in hard cash, informed Police sources, adding that he thought nothing of spending lakhs of rupees on a single night. Arnab, who was sent to jail custody till October 4 next by a local court, accessed his all accounts to carry out his transactions, as revealed by the arrestee during questioning.

“We are interrogating Kajal Rani Chakraborty and Sangeeta Chakraborty, mother and wife of Arnab who is accused of embezzlement of RMSA fund to the tune of Rs 5 crore. We expect that they would throw light on our targeted issues”,.

It is learnt that initially the duo, who had been absconding for long, kept insisting that they had already said whatever they had to say.
