BOXONAGAR, Dec 11 (TIWN): One Indian was arrested huge amounts of Bangladeshi currency in Tripura.

The arrest was held at Boxanagar in Sonamura lined Indo-Bangla border lined market.

On the basis of secret information O.C. Rajib Saha along with S.I.Tapas Das and Kalamchoura PS staffs and Sinil T.S.A/C and other Officer and staffs of 74 BSF conducted search at Boxanagar market and detained one Tapan Das S/O Sri Swapan Das of Madhya Boxanagar Paschim para, PS.Kalamchoura with Bangladeshi Currency note amounting Rs. 66810/- .

Police is inquiring him and to be produced before the court on Tuesday.
