AGARTALA, Dec 8 (TIWN): It has been decided by police headquarter that all the cases of accidents will be investigated jointly by OC of the local PS and the concerned engineer of the PWD at there.

The team will be under leadership of OC of the police station.The investigation will be aimed to find out whether the driver died or injured by his / her own faulty driving or due to the roadway condition.

The report will be sent to SP, DGP within 3 days of the accident. This decision was taken following the increasing accidents in the state.
