AGARTALA, Dec 1 (TIWN): Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Urban Development has arrived here in Tripura on Saturday to review the ongoing projects under Urban Development.

After arriving in the state, the Minister held a meeting with Chief Minister Biplab Deb at Pragna Bhawan in the presence of Urban Development Dept officials and engineers.

Hardeep Singh Puri is the current Union Minister of State with Independent Charge in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. He is a 1974 batch Indian Foreign Service officer who served as the Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations from 2009 to 2013.
