AGARTALA, Nov 30 (TIWN): Border Security Force will celebrate 53rd Rising Day. Along with whole country in Tripura also, BSF will celebrate the day on December 1st with full enthusiasm.
In a press conference briefing about BSF's activity throughout the year before media, it has been announced.
"Rising Day is also used to thank brave hearts who gave their best in highest of traditions carrying motto of the force "Jeevan Paryant Kartabya" in all challenges, as proud borderman. On this occasion Tripura Frontier of BSF is also organizing various programmes including Blood-Donation-Camp at Composite Hospital, Salbagan, Agartala Sweet Distributions to BGB at all unit formation levels and meetings of the BSF troops, retirees, with families, in rare display of prevailing camaraderie under leadership of H K Lohia", said BSF.
The Border Security Force is the primary border defence organisation of India. It is one of the five Central Armed Police Forces of the Union of India, it was raised in the wake of the 1965 War on 1 December 1965, "for ensuring the security of the borders of India and for matters connected there with".
