AGARTALA, Nov 30 (TIWN): With a news publication in Tripurainfoway.com, Tripura police instead of going in legal paths are busy to harass the journalists, photographers to know whether s/he is working or not working in TIWN. Police's this activity was also a mean to threat whole media workers not to contribute for TIWN, but TIWN's well-wishers could not make it possible.

When TIWN Editor's lawyer Raghunath Mukharjee is ready to communicate with police 24X7 and for that notice has been served to police and TIWN Editor Saumen Sarker is also communicating with police directly through email, but instead of going with legal ways, police for hours trying to inquired many journalists and in one case where many police officer and SDPO Suman Majumder were also present.

But on the next day, again that journalist was called in phone by East PS for same section 160. Even after lawyer visited police station, instead of telling everything to the lawyer, they rushed to journalist's home town with huge group and inquired the old parents and psycho-therapy undergoing ill old mother. 

In similar way, photographers, other newspapers' journalists were questioned on 160 section (being witness of a crime) for long in the East Agartala police station to get any link with Tripurainfoway.com, as if working in Tripurainfoway.com is a crime for Tripura Journalists ? It's another dirty however foul game of BJP and its Govt to ruin Tripurainfoway.com.

West SP Ajit Pratap Singh under order of Additional DGP Rajiv Singh sent false statement to US domain saying it's a criminal website and the owner is criminal, so to shutdown the website. 

(However, as US is a democratic country in true sense and the Editor has decade-long spotless past in his career at there, so Tripura Police was not successful, rather the whole letter sent by SP West came to the Editor) 

Then, Editor Saumen Sarker has lodged FIR against SP West and Dy SP West both after long denial of lodging FIR at East PS till Wednesday late night. TIWN facebook page is down and the Editor has filed police report on that too. 

TIWN has also reported this to international media protection wing.
