Fire Service landline cut for Rs. 872 bill

AGARTALA, Nov 26 (TIWN): 872 rupees of pending bill led BSNL to cut landline connection Premtala Fire Service in Agartala.
As a result common people are suffering a lot, unable to contact the Fire Service office in tough times.
03822263863 is the land number but outgoing and incoming both services have been cut. In any emergency situation people are unable to contact the Fire Service Office and being bound a mobile has been taken in Fire Service office but maximum people do not know that number.
Kaushik Kar, Prem Tala Fire Service In-Charge said that even after multiple requests, the bill was not cleared for this office. Thus the line has been cut. The coverage was first done by a local TV channel ‘Din Raat’.
