AGARTALA, Nov 25 (TIWN): When Tripura everyday remains in national media headline for wrong reason and Tripura youths are mocked everywhere, in each campus only for comedy Chief Minister Biplab Deb's irresponsible statements from Mahabharata-Internet to Ducks release Oxygen, Biplab Deb in a party programme claimed on Sunday that since BJP Govt came in power people of Tripura are praised outside.

"Earlier people of Tripura were being mocked, specially when they reached at Kolkata but now Tripura is becoming hugely popular. Even India Today like channel have awarded Tripura for infrastructural development", Biplab deb said.

CM was addressing in a joining programme at his own constituency where 30 people have joined BJP from other parties. 

"I felt very insulted when after reaching in Kolkata we were called as "Bangailla". They mocked at us, but now things are changing which the previous CPI-M Govt could not do. Our neighboring countries are unable to compete with us and there is no doubt that we will make a model state in Tripura in next 3 years", Biplab Deb said.
