AGARTALA, Nov 23 (TIWN): One outsider IPS officer, Tripura Cadre Rajib Singh has ordered arrest of 3 Tripura soiled youths after they went to protest in the Tripura Cricket Association (TCA) after Tripura lost match due to the IPS officer’s son (an amateur player from Hazaribagh, Bihar), who took entry in TCA under his father’s illegal pressure against the wish of TCA-Management Body.
Depriving many talented Tripura cricketers, Rajiv Singh pushed his son Pratyosh Singh into Tripura Cricket Team amid objection of Tripura Cricket Association(TCA) Management body due to Pratyosh as a bad performer, not at all qualified to play at even state level.
But Singh had forced to take his son in the national team led massive defeats of state Tripura with Jammu & Kashmir and today after Tripura’s miserable loss cricket lovers went to show protest at the TCA which is a democratic right but Rajiv Singh ordered Lathi forced his arrest.
He is also forcing Police Officials to file strong chargesheet so that the protesters can not come out of jail in next 5 years.
Thus, being bound the West Tripura Police officials arrested 1) Partha Saha (41), S/O-Bimal Saha), 2) Bidhan Bhattacharjee ( 29), S/O-Binoy Bhattacharjee, 3) Malay Hussein (44) S/O-Late Chiraj Ali, Udaipur.
