CPI-M Office burnt in Tripura, Statewide attacks upon opposition continues by Yuva Morcha, RSS : No Action

AGARTALA, Nov 23 (TIWN): Everyday political violence have become part and parcel of Tripura. One more CPI-M party office was burnt at Durlabhnagar area. This incident has fueled much resentment as already maximum party offices CPI-M were occupied illegally, or vandalized and bulldozed beyond court’s objection. No action has been taken even against this incident too. Since one week across the state open attack of BJP, RSS have been damaging the law and order whereas Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s role has remained just as a Party President. This is not the single violence happened in last 48 hours. When on Thursday night amid bombings and attacks huge numbers of Bodhjungnagar village women rushed to Chief Minister Biplab Deb's house, at Bisramganj another bloody incident left the whole area tensed. One 33 years man Joydeb Saha was killed brutally at there whereas the reason behind the murder yet to be identified. At the same time, violent incident of West District's Bodhjungnagar led a group of women to rush at Chief Minister Biplab Deb's residence area for shelter on yesterday night, which has erupted huge controversy.

The violence however started from last Thursday centering Belonia violence where huge numbers of RSS, Yuva Morcha activists attacked on CPI-M and next another attack was held on CPI-M at Bishalgrah on Friday.

Ex-Chief Minister Manik Sarkar's convoy was also attempted to stop on Friday when he was returning after a meeting, but so far no action is being taken. Police have tightened the area with securities after the incident.On Thursday, Belonia Jila Sabhadhipati Himangshu Roy was attacked severely which left many police officials injured. Even SP South Jal Singh Meena was also heavily attacked but nobody was arrested after the attack.While leaving from the rally MLA-Kamalasagar Narayan Chowdhury's vehicle was attacked heavily and broken.

At night entering in another CPI-M supporter Narayan Debnath's home, BJP activists further looted his home, stanched papers, gold items and many important / expensive things were taken away for his participation in CPI-M's meeting.

Voicing against this incident CPI-M also organized various protests across the state and now within 4 days of those violence, another brutal attack of BJP has hit Hapania area. 

After Belonia, Bishalgarh violence, Tripura BJP Yuva Morcha and RSS led attacks have hit Hapania area on Wednesday when the CPI-M members were holding a meeting inside the party office. The attack took place in broad day light at CPI-M Dukli Subdivisional Committee. They entered with liquor bottles, stones and heavy items and continued pelting for around 10 minutes. This attack vandalized around 30 bikes and 2 cars. In the mean time, police rushed to the spot with force and all of the BJP goons left the office then.

No action has been taken so far.
