AGARTALA, Nov 22 (TIWN): The National Highway at Udaipur-Agartala road remained stuck for hours after a major road accident hit the route.

The accident took place at Kachari area, under Amtali PS after one cement carrying 12-wheeler-truck hit a bridge and the bridge was collapsed. Fortunately nobody died in that accident. 

To save one overtaking bike rider on that route the truck hit the bridge, said the eyewitnesses. This accident created huge traffic jam covering 3 to 4 km of area. 

Passengers alleged, no police person was deployed at there led the whole accident. Public have suffered a lot due to bad trafficking.
