AGARATALA, Nov 21 (TIWN): Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath said that in the month of September-2018, total 3 crores 65 lakhs cess was collected.

“The ordinance we brought on 1st August 2018 Tripura Development Cess Bill 2018, where 2% cess was increased on fuel. The collection started 1-9-2018. We collected 3 crores 65 lakhs of cess in last September month”.

“The previous Govt had left the roads without maintenance and now this collected money will be used in that road development purpose”

“This roadway development will ease business, save people’s valuable time. It will bring development. It will also reduce the transportation cost”, Ratan lal Nath told media.
