AGARTALA, Nov 21 (TIWN): CPI-M backed 'Tripura Autonomous and Semi Govt Coordination Committee' has staged four hours demonstrations with their 11 demands at Paradize Chowmuhani.
The agitators alleged that even though the previous Govt was paying equal pay scale as State Teachers Govt employees to PSU employees but the new BJP Govt has totally kept the PSU employees out of the Pay Matrix benefits.
Their demands are :
1) Like other employees the PSU employees also should get increased salaries under ROP,
2) There should not be any difference between teaching employees salaries and the salaries of the PSU employees,
3) No difference should be among PSU employees and others,
4) 9% pending DA should be immediately mitigated,
5) Gratuity's highest layer should be made Rs.20 lakhs,
6) Instead of new pension, PSU employees should be given defined pension,
7) PSU employees' existing rights should be maintained,
8) Grant-in-Aid institutions should be brought under new ROP,
9) Share capital of PSU should be increased,
10) PSU's share capital's budget must be be hiked,
11) PSUs should be made capable enough so that they can be utilized for public interests.
