AGARTALA, Nov 20 (TIWN): In a counterattack to BJP in Tripura for pulling down Communist Revolutionary Lenin's statue in South District of Tripura, Tamil Nadu CPI-M has announced to build the same at their state in honour of Lenin.

Vladimir Lenin was a Russian communist revolutionary and political theorist, who served as head of government of Soviet Russia from 1917 to 1924 and of the Soviet Union from 1922 to 1924.

His statue was pulled down by BJP on march 3rd at South Tripura on the day of Election result when BJP was able to mark the first even victory in Tripura downing 25 years long Left Front regime.

The statue will be built in Tirunelveli District of Tamil Nadu.
