Pending wages erupt resentment in Tripura

AGARTALA, Nov 16 (TIWN): Day after day increasing pending wages have hit the poor and rural area people.
Many wages are pending whereas 2 days Durga Puja works payments (at Rs. 320) have been pending to maximum workers.
Moreover, before the election it was said that minimum wage will be at Rs. 340 and social allowances will be Rs. 2000 but so far no development has come to the pre-poll primise.
Ahead of Durga Puja Tripura Finance Dept had decided to increase numbers of beneficiaries for 2-days works during Durga Puja, but after two days works many workers yet to get those wages throughout state.
