KAMALPUR, Nov 13 (TIWN): Huge corruption allegation has come against PWD in Kamalpur for allocating hefty amounts of funds to a local contractor in exchange of low quality work. The tender was given in 2017 under title "Proposed construction of Court Building at Kamalpur Dhalai District" for SH Building portion including Internal water supply Sanitary Installation Sewage and Drainage works Ground Floor only.

The tender was called on 20-10/2017 on behalf of PWD Kamalpur and it was Dulal Chandra Dey who got the contract.

Recently an RTI was made on 5/10/2018 which revealed that the enlistment was upto 27/12/2016  and also it was clearly mentioned in the RTI reply that the enlist is valid for Road works only.

But PWD has over looked the fact and rewarded the contract to the person who is not eligible to get the work and rejected the bid offer by other bidders who were technically sound.

Also Dulal chandar Dey and his partner had already taken may building projects with the enlist since 2011 and misguide the PWD, a govt body with the help of this enlist. K.C girls Class School is also taken with favour.

Right now a case is being prepared in court in this regard.
