AGARTALA, Nov 12 (TIWN): RSS trained Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Sunday while addressing at Nazrul Kalakshetra in Gazetted Officers Sangha claimed that he never lied in his whole life, neither any BJP leader lies to people.

"In my whole life I never lied and this is BJP's policy not to lie", CM said while explaining how his Govt failed to give 7th Pay Commission in Tripura. (Earlier during Durga Puja speeches CM continued to say---Only 7th Pay Commission has been given by BJP Govt).

As excuse of his failure to give 7th Pay Commission CM blamed the previous CM Manik Sarkar. He said.

He said, "I was trusting Manik Sarkar's Golden Era phrase. I heard that Tripura has been undergoing Golden Era and his name is also Manik (Jewel), but as soon as I assumed the power Finance Secretary (former Finance Secretary M Nagaraju) told about thousands of debts and deficits the State Govt is burdened with".

"Due to lack of fund, I could not totally implement 7th Pay Commission. Now people would ask me, why BJP continued to assure that 7th Pay Commission will be given to employees / pensioners before Assembly Election ? But did I know the condition of the treasury is like this ?", CM told the officers.
