AGARTALA, Nov 8 (TIWN): Unemployment problems not only spiking the crime rates in Tripura, but heavy debts of loans are compelling youths to commit suicide. In last 8 months lack of MGNREGA and other works, loss in business are leading acute economic crisis situation statewide. With a shocking development, one 30 years man Paresh Debnath (30),S/O-Sudhangshu Debnath has committed suicide in loan burden at Baikhora, Santir Bazar subdivision under South District in Tripura. When Tripura’s unemployment tolls reached 32.2% Govt's zero initiative to fill up the vacant posts in Govt Depts are turning the situation worse and at the same time, under the previous Govt various ongoing jobs under Tripura Public Service Commission has been postponed for uncertain period of time. Survey says, BJP heavily lost unemployment vote bank base, after it lost Govt employees, pensioners vote banks with its failure to give 7th Pay Commission. Unemployment is not only the problem of Tripura, but across the country the same problems are being faced by jobless people under Modi Govt. Being fed up with Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s bizarre remarks, with his fancy planning for unemployed youths, netizens are throwing sharp reactions against their new Chief Minister. At the same time with a temporary relief for the terminated 10323 teachers who were recruited under irregularities back in 2009-10 Supreme Court has extended the ad-hoc for more 2 years, which has fueled the resentment among unemployed youths more.

Youths are worried about what the Govt isdoing is ‘actually’ to curbing the employment opportunities. BJP's intention was exposed when Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb offered youths to open paan shop or breed cows for livelihood.

But when asked Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb had remained strict to his remark after paan-shop and cow-breeding controversies saying, “The attitudes towards earning have to be changed. Because the left govt couldn’t change the attitudes among youths, thus they created around 7 lakh of unemployed youths in the state”, but when about "attitude changing" mafia led earning was exposed on Oct 3 when BJP activists met in massive clashes.
