AGARTALA, Oct 25 (TIWN):After media pressure, finally pollution control board has woke up from slumber to clean Howrah river areas.

Being asked by media, pollution control officials said, a team will visit Agartala city and check the condition of rivers and other sides as the city must be kept pollution free.

During Laxmi Puja and the upcoming Diwali also strict objections will be given against noise pollution.

Criticism erupted after TIWN and few other media presented the condition of Howrah river after immersion for 3 days long.
