AGARTALA, Oct 20 (TIWN): At least 5 houses were burnt in accidental fire at Border Gol Chakkar area on yesterday night 8 pm.

From opposition CPI-M party compensation has been demanded as well as rehabilitation. 

Today morning CPI-M State Committee member Ratan Das, Party Sadar General Secretary Subhashish Ganguli, AMC officials jointly visited the spot and talked to the five victim families.

In Ward No-15 of AMC the affected people have been given shelter. The party has talked to the SDM in this regard, demanded proper compensation for the families.
