AGARTALA, Oct 20 (IWN): Even though administration has taken initiative to control the noise pollution during Laxmi puja, but chances of sound-crackers’ availability are very high on Saturday.

Every year it happens that although many crackers are seized by authorities but customers manage sound crackers for their celebrations and police do not bother to interrupt the celebration at all, resulting huge problems for old people and children.

Apart from noise pollution, state also to suffer from Air pollution due to the gas emerging out of crackers.

Already noise pollution had hit the normal lives across state for the senior citizens.

High sound boxes, negligence of pollution control board especially in other subdivisions apart from Agartala was responsible for such activities.

With the Laxmi Puja once again chances of noise pollution are high, as celebration to begin from Friday night itself.
